Pulp and Paper
The Heart of the Matter: Complete Solutions from Wood Chips to Finished Goods
The pulp and paper industry primarily relies on wood chips as raw material inputs. Consequently, the covers must be able to resist the damaging effects of oils that can cause swelling and distortion, leading to tracking problems, while maintaining performance in cold conditions. The steep angles at which wood chips are conveyed often require cleated patterns molded into the belt. Also important is selecting a carcass with strong adhesion to avoid premature delamination of the covers. Additionally, lightweight conveyor belts are necessary in the later stages of paper production.
Commonly Used Carcasses

- Plylok Master: Cost-effective plain weave pattern ideal for conveying wood chips.
Commonly Used Covers

- MOR: Engineered to resist moderately oily materials in both normal and cold conditions.
- CleatLine: Selection of cleat patterns ideal for conveying wood chips at steep angles.
Lightweight Conveyor Belts

We provide a wide range of lightweight conveyor belts for the pulp and paper industry, including:
- Conventional Plied Belts: Available in various cover compounds and textures.
- Power Transmission Belts: Designed for efficient power transfer between axles.
- Machine Tapes: Used for conveying, speeding up, slowing down, positioning and folding paper.
